Spa combo (pool-spa combination)
An attached spa or hot tub built into the pool, sharing its structure and equipment and usually spilling over into the main pool — priced as an add-on.
A spa combo (or pool-spa combination) builds a hot tub into the same shell as the pool, sharing plumbing, heating, and filtration. Most are raised and 'spill over' into the pool, which doubles as a water feature.
Because it shares equipment, a spa combo is cheaper than a fully standalone spa but still adds meaningfully to the build — for the extra shell, jets, a dedicated heater, and controls. It's one of the most popular feature upgrades on a new inground pool.
